Terms of Use
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Mediterranean Diet & Meal Plan app (the "App") provided by Realized LLC ("Realized," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy at https://www.mediterraneanmealguide.com/privacy-policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Our Service
The App provides educational nutrition content, Mediterranean-style meal plans, recipes, grocery lists, tracking, and related features, including an AI nutrition coach. We may update, change, or discontinue features at any time. Some features require an active paid subscription.
2. Eligibility and Health Notice
You must be at least 18 years old to use the App. The App does not provide medical care and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. We are not a healthcare provider and do not establish a physician-patient relationship. Always consult your doctor before starting a diet or changing your health routine. If you think you are having a medical emergency, call 911.
3. Accounts
Provide accurate registration information and keep it updated. You are responsible for activity under your account. Do not share your account or impersonate anyone else. Notify us of unauthorized use.
4. Communications
By creating an account, you may receive transactional emails and push notifications, and marketing messages if you opt in. You can opt out of marketing at any time. Transactional messages may still be sent.
5. User Content
If you post content, you keep ownership but grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use it to operate and improve the App. No harassment, spam, illegal, or misleading content, and do not give medical advice to others.
6. Intellectual Property
The App, recipes, software, text, graphics, and trademarks are owned by Realized or its licensors. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App while these Terms apply (and, for paid features, while your subscription is active). If you send feedback, we may use it without obligation to you.
7. Subscriptions, Trials, and Auto-Renewal
A subscription is required for full access. Payment is charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play account. Subscriptions automatically renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Free trials, if offered, convert to a paid subscription unless canceled before the trial ends. Manage or cancel in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable and there are no credits for partial periods. We may change prices prospectively.
8. Payments
Payments are processed by Apple, Google, or our payment partners (including RevenueCat). Your billing relationship may be with the applicable store and subject to its terms. You are responsible for applicable taxes.
9. Prohibited Uses
Do not reverse engineer, scrape, interfere with the App, use it unlawfully, or train machine-learning models on App content without our written consent.
10. Third-Party Services
Features may rely on third parties (for example analytics, crash reporting, or in-app purchases). Their terms may also apply. We are not responsible for third-party services.
11. Disclaimers
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE APP IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $100.
13. Termination
You may stop using the App and cancel through the App Store or Google Play. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. For claims that must be heard in court, the exclusive venue is the state or federal courts in Santa Barbara County, California.
15. Changes
We may modify the App and these Terms. The current version will be posted in the App or on mediterraneanmealguide.com. Continued use after changes take effect is acceptance.
